Against the Wall

The gladiator was slammed back against the wall and stabbed hard in the gut by his opponent's sword. The blade cut easily through the gladiator's exposed flesh and tore through his muscular torso, pinning him against the wall. His opponents ripped the sword out of the gladiator's belly and the gladiator fell to the sand clutching the gaping wound in his gut with both hands.

Ambushed

The gladiator never saw the archers that launched the arrows that ripped into his thickly muscled body. By the time the archers reached their prey, the gladiator had succumbed to his wounds.
